Coach Selection Process
Thank you for considering a role in SAMHA.
Dev/Rep Deadline: May 15th, 2023
Female Deadline: June 15th, 2023
Rec Deadline: August 31st, 2023
Dev/Rep Coach Application Process:
Applications will be available March 15th until May 15th.
Thereafter the SAMHA Coach Committee will contact the successful applicant and appoint them to their team.
All Assistant Coaches and HCSP Personnel will be chosen by the Head Coach. Assistant Coaches and HCSP Personnel will be approved by the SAMHA Coach Committee before appointed.
Dev/Rep Coach Application Form
Recreation & Female Coach Application Process:
Applications will be available March 15th to August 31st. August 31st will be the cut-off date for all Integrated Recreation Coach Applications. The Female Coach application cut-off date will be June 15th.
Thereafter the Coach Coordinator or Division Manager will contact all successful coaches and appoint them to their teams.
All Assistant Coaches and HCSP Personnel will be chosen by the Head Coach. Assistant Coaches and HCSP Personnel will be approved by the SAMHA Board before appointed.
Coach Development in Salmon Arm
SAMHA is fortunate to host Coach 1 and Coach 2 coaching clinics every season. This season we were happy with the turnout as coaches need these requirements to be on the bench and to work with our youth.
