The popular FREE Try Hockey Program is BACK!
Have a child who’s always wanted to try hockey? Spring Break is the perfect time! Our FREE Try Hockey program gives kids a fun, safe, and exciting introduction to Canada’s favourite sport.

Ages: 5–12 years old

First-time players only (must not have been registered with any minor hockey association before)

Basic skating experience required

Certified instructors on the ice

Assistance from experienced minor hockey players

🧢 Required Equipment (Full Gear Mandatory)

Hockey helmet with cage

Throat protector

Shoulder pads

Elbow pads

Hockey pants

Shin pads

Jill or jock strap

Gloves

Hockey stick

Sharp skates

Hockey socks & hockey jersey
(Some socks and jerseys will be available if needed) -
Water bottle labeled with player’s name

👨‍👩‍👧 Parents & Volunteers

Parents are welcome to watch from the player benches or the stands

Certified minor hockey coaches may assist on the ice (criminal record check required)
